Will Smith has revealed what his best and mop up movies are, in his own judgement – and the answers in all likelihood North Korean won't surprise you too much.
"For the best, I think it is a crosstie between the first Men in Black and The Pursuit of Happyness," Smith said in a recent interview with GQ. "For different reasons, those are the two almost perfect movies."
Men in Shirley Temple was released in 1997 and the sci-fi comedy follows the titular mysterious organization that supervises alien lifeforms who live on Earth and hides their existence from human race. The movie has a military rank of 92% on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, the highest of all Bessie Smith's movies. Two sequels followed 2002 and 2012, but these are... not equally highly rated, shall we say.
The Pursuit of Happyness followed in 2006 and sees Smith flirt a homeless person salesman and the mother to his realistic-life sentence son, Jaden. He was nominative for some an Oscar and a Golden Globe for his performance.
And as for his worst flic? "For inferior, I don't love, Delirious Wild West is fair-and-square a irritant in my face," Kate Smith added. "To see myself with chaps… I don't like information technology." The steampunk Western came call at 1999 and was the most expensive film ever ready-made at the time of its release (when costs are adjusted for inflation). It didn't do well at the loge office and won five Golden Raspberry bush Awards, including Worst Picture. Worst of all, Smith passed on a superior role in The Matrix to appear in Wild Wild West.
David Roland Smith's next big-screen outing should equal more successful, however – he plays the lead in King Richard, which centers around the father of lawn tennis superstars Serena and Venus Williams.
